A reason to choose Avola for your holiday is certainly the wide choice of beaches that the Avolese coast offers.
We begin our overview from the north to the south.
The first beach of Avola is that of Gelsominento, also called beach of the ‘Marchesa’ And it is certainly one of those beaches that deserves to be mentioned among the most beautiful ever.
The Gelsomineto beach can be reached from the state road that connects Avola to Cassibile, tourists can take advantage of a convenient unreserved paid parking (about € 10 with car) inside the pine forest adjacent to the beach with services and showers.
The coast offers both a beautiful beach close to the pine forest and a rocky area that can be reached easily enough on foot.
Continuing on the state road to Avola 5km from it is found 'Golden' sandy beach with its crystal clear waters and a spectacular seabed.
Before arriving at the main beach of Avola on the seafront, we point out a "beach" or stretch of secondary coast for lovers of quiet places and for the most adventurous tourist.
The place is Black cap And it is actually a cove reserved for residents and tourists who stay in those parts.
Almost one km from Capo Negro begins the famous Lido di Avola, a long beach located close to the town, which can be reached from our apartment in a few minutes on foot.

The beach hosts two bathing establishments and some kiosks, bars and animation for children, a Wind Surf club, pedal rental and close to a club of kayak and canoeing club.
The waterfront is varied and it is spoiled for choice on many of the beaches, each of them has close services such as showers and bars, the private beaches alternate with free beaches.
The beaches of Avola are easily accessible and many of these have areas reserved for access to disabled people.
The Lido di Avola is connected with the central square "P.zza Umberto I" by a long large avenue (V.le C. Santuccio ex viale Lido) which ends with an enchanting roundabout on the sea, symbol of the Lido di Avola.

Pantanello beach, is always located on the Avola promenade and is another very crowded beach in the summer months.

Between one beach and the other, small beaches accessible only by sea alternate, the coves and returns are varied and little frequented, but certainly no less fascinating.

Another beach in Avola is located at the end of the Avolese promenade, it is the beach of the "I'm logged on delimited by the old woman Tonnara of Avola, accessible from the streets.
Più avanti abbiamo la spiaggia di Mare Vecchio, una spiaggia ripristinata recentemente, adiacente alla Tonnara e al futuro Porto di Avola in fase di costruzione.

After a few minutes by car from the Tonnara area you reach the Piccìo beach also known as “Cicirat” of Avola, a little frequented beach, far from the city center, but with a wild and uncontaminated charm.
The Cicrate is located right on the border of Avola with Noto, a border marked by the Asinaro river which delimit the two territories geographically and visually.
